Med-Act’s Bicycle Medic Team (BMT) began in the summer of 2003, and has proven to be an effective way to deliver care when reaching patients becomes difficult. The BMT also participates in bike rodeos, safety fairs, and other events that are held with the intent of promoting safety in general, and safe cycling in particular.
The Elite Frogs parachute team is comprised of U.S.Navy SEALs. Whether in the sea, air, or on land, the U.S. Navy SEAL teams are the most feared and respected commando force in the arsenal of the U.S. military special forces, maybe even the world. Some members of the team have retired from the Navy with over 20 years of service. Elite Frogs is a sponsor of the Headstrong for Jake Foundation.
Today, the JCBC is strictly a recreational (non-racing) cycling club whose purpose is to promote bicycling safety, advocacy, and fellowship. Although its roots and club name are centered about Johnson County, JCBC’s interests cover the greater Kansas City Metro and beyond.

Beth Torah's Social Justice fund beneficiaries have included the reStart Shelter, Harvesters, Safehome and other organizations fighting poverty, hunger and illness in our community.

What do bicycling, horseback riding, baseball and in-line skating all have in common? Helmets! The trick is that different sports require a different type of helmet to help protect participants from the different types of head injuries common to that particular sport.
